Eric Oleson is recognized for outstanding contributions to the community

Our own Eric Oleson was honored with the Greater Mankato Growth Hap Halligan Leadership Award at the Greater Mankato Business Award ceremony on Tuesday, November 15th at the Verizon Wireless Center Ballroom. Receiving this award means Eric has been recognized as having demonstrated outstanding creative and innovative contributions to the community.

Location of proposed St. Peter Veterans Memorial Remains Contentious

The veterans memorial project in St. Peter has been in the works for three years. In September 2013, it was proposed to stand in Minnesota Square Park along Hwy. 169, however, the council has deferred it's decision to commit to this space.

Oleson + Hobbie Architects receives Entrepreneurial Business Award

Greater Mankato Growth recognized Oleson + Hobbie Architects at the Greater Mankato Business Award ceremony on Tuesday, November 19th at the Verizon Wireless Center. OHA was presented with the Entrepreneurial Business Award. Each year, the Entrepreneurial Business Award honors one outstanding organization that has been in business in the Greater Mankato region for less than three years for their contribution to the community.

Matthew Rockers receives Oleson + Hobbie Architects Scholarship

South Central College recognized 262 students on Friday, September 6th, 2013 for their academic achievements, community involvement and dedication to their programs of study. Among them was Matthew Rockers. Oleson + Hobbie Architects is proud to celebrate this upstanding young man. The over $200,000 in total scholarship funding is provided through generous contributions by individuals and businesses that support the Annual Fund Drive by the North Mankato Campus Foundation.

Mary Dotson Skating Rink design will debut at 2013 Kiwanis Holiday Lights Display

Residents and visitors of Mankato have something new to look forward to this holiday season. Thanks to Denny and Carole Dotson, the Mary Dotson Skating Rink will be installed and enjoyed alongside the second season of the Kiwanis Holiday Lights extravaganza. The rink will be made of a synthetic substance which is mobile and will not be subject to the highs and lows of Minnesota weather. The City of Mankato plans to use it for events throughout the year when it's not installed at Sibley Park. Oleson + Hobbie Architects is proud to have assisted in the site planning and design.

Oleson + Hobbie Architects teams up with St. Peter again after recently completing the new Minnesota Square Park pavillion. The new St. Peter Veterans Memorial is planned to be located near the pavillion in Minnesota Square Park along Hwy. 169.

Jessica Osnes joins Oleson + Hobbie

OHA welcomes Jessica Osnes to their team. Jessica is an interior designer with Oleson + Hobbie Architects. Originally from Rapid City, South Dakota, Jessica graduated with an Interior Design Degree from the accredited program at South Dakota State University in Brookings. Her experience with commercial interiors makes her an excellent fit for Oleson + Hobbie Architects. Jessica is a natural leader and will guide clients through the design process to ensure that their needs are met with creative design solutions. She is excited to be in Mankato and looks forward to the new opportunities that our community has to offer.
